There are new villains, a new Wells, Jesse has a superhero name, and Barry is acting weirder than usual.

This week’s episode starts with the unveiling of new villains: Mirror master and Top. Mirror master being one of The Flash greatest arch-nemesis. He was so much cooler in the comics – real cocky guy who gave Barry Allen a world of trouble. He used gadgets to create wormholes on reflective surfaces, could even create clones through reflection and many other fictional science tricks. This version of the Mirror Master is a little different - He  got his powers after the particle accelerator exploded in Star Labs and got stuck in a mirror for three years (talk about worst ways to get superpowers). Before he got stuck in the mirror, he and Snart (Captain Cold) got into an argument so now that he’s out, he’s bent on getting his pound of flesh from Snart. His sidekick (and girlfriend) Rosalind Dillion (Top as named by Cisco), has the power to induce crippling vertigo - which sounds like a boring power, but its really annoying.

Meanwhile, Team Flash is still trying to solve the Doctor Alchemy mystery. They like everyone else would like to know the psycho behind the mask. My guess is Barry’s lab partner Julian.

Jesse’s training is still in progress and she is nearly as fast as Barry. She and Wells will be leaving Earth 1 soon and Wells suggested they bring another member with his similar set of skills to the team. This new member would be another version of him from the multiverse.

The coolest part of this episode was the search for a new Wells. Wells had this bright idea to send a message with a satellite embedded with a tachyon enhanced laser through a “breach” which Cisco will open. Any of the other Wells in an advanced universe who could crack the message would be a good fit for the team. The message was cracked by four Harrison Wells - the first guy, a funny looking cowboy, the second looking like a steampunk and the third, a French mime. The last version was perfect but Wells didn’t like him - gave some funny excuse.

It’s a weird love day for the Wests and West-adopted. Joe has this really hot District Attorney Cecile interested in him and he is just brushing her off. Barry being the clueless dud he is can’t kiss Iris in front of Joe. You finally got the hot babe and you don’t want to make out with her EVERY SINGLE TIME? Like it couldn’t get any more awkward, Barry took permission from Joe to kiss Iris in his presence. Meanwhile little West (Wally) is a little unwilling to hang out with Jesse because they live earths apart. Now I know where Barry and Wally get their clueless-around-girls act from – Papa Joe

The Barry-Iris-Joe weird triangle fiasco was cut short by Mirror Master & Top’s bank robbery alert. It was cool for a second when he decided to pair up with Jesse, till they confronted Mirror Master & Top and new superhero Jesse named herself Jesse Quick (very corny name). Predictably, she didn’t listen to Barry and he got stuck in a mirror after being distracted by saving her. The team try to get Barry out of the mirror by freezing it so he can phase through. When they get distracted by a metahuman alert, Caitlyn discreetly freezes the mirror and saved the day. After that, Barry took out Mirror master quite easily and Jesse took out Top. We did get to see Snart at the end of the episode even though it was just a hologram created by Team Flash.

Wells decides that before he and Jesse leave, they might as well meet Earth 19 Wells. The new Wells arrived - he looks actually cool and has a good sense of humor (well I think). Before leaving, Wells dropped a new mystery for Cisco – he told him to figure out how Barry got out of the mirror seeing as their plan to get him out fell short. Barry finally grew a pair and told Joe he wants to move out.

Looks like Caitlyn is making the final transition to becoming Killer Frost as when she came out of the shower, her hair was white and her lips blue. The question is will she be a villain or a hero? My bet is on villain – here’s to hoping they don’t ruin it.
