I had five major reactions throughout this episode
– “OMG what is happening”, “he’s lying don’t trust him” “she’s lying” “for goodness sake, leave
him to die”.
Resolves Eleven Myths opened with candles,
strange music playing and someone cutting food. After giving us five seconds to
double check if we’re watching the right show, the camera moves and its Jane.
Jane is cooking! Before we get over that shocker, she turns and gives Weller a
kiss? AM I WATCHING THE RIGHT SHOW?
There’s a knock at the door and the guest
is Roman – looking less sociopath-y and less handsome-y too. Roman and Weller
totally share a bro hug while Jane is smiling like a school girl. The romantic
dinner goes sideways when the candle blows out, everyone disappears and Remi (Jane before memory wipe) appears and starts kicking Jane’s ass. She tells Jane "this doesn’t belong to
you” and then proceeds to stab her in the chest. Jane wakes up. Knowing it was
a dream didn’t make it any less magical for me. Except, is Kurt really the right guy
for Jane?
Moving on
At the FBI office, Nas is once again getting
on Jane’s case about not delivering the chip like she was supposed to. Jane
feeling a little pressured decides to tell the truth by saying she chose to
save Roman and by doing so, save Operation Sandstorm. At this everyone
disagrees saying uploading the chip would have ended the operation. Jane is
still convinced she can turn Roman. Weller interrupts the happy meeting to
speak to Nas privately. He confronts her about the bug they found in Borden’s
room and before she can give a good explanation, Patterson interrupts. All their
computers had been seized. They were being hacked. Again.
Only this time its a familiar face –
douchebag Rich Dotcom. He wants the FBI to bomb a specific location or he will
wipe all their data – including their backup folders. Weller picked up the hint
that Rich was hacking them from his apartment and he takes his team to his
home. Getting there, they meet a very welcoming Rich who actually wanted to get
caught.

Apparently, a very good assassin (Akkadian - who is great at breaking into secured places) is out to get him because he
made a pass at Kim Jong Un’s wife. And he decided to come make the FBI his
personal bodyguards. This guy is pretty ballsy. Instead of throwing him out
like regular people, Weller & co decide to help him and soon discover that Akkadian
is in the building. Rich also adds that Akkadian killed his lover (and fellow
con artist) Boston who died in his arms on a beach. At this point, I was
literally screaming “he’s lying” at the screen.
Earlier during the day, Yamaha (the cop in
charge of Jones’ homicide) and the DA who was supposed to prosecute him came by
the office to see Reade and Zapata freaked out. Reade went into the room to
talk with the two and it turned out the DA came by to offer her apology for not
taking the case when Reade brought it to her. But that’s not all; they also had
a list of victims Jones had abused and wanted Reade to choose the-most-likely-victim-to-murder-Jones.
At this Reade flew off the handle and said “Jones got what he deserved”. Luckily
Zapata saved him from implicating himself more by saying she had FBI matters to
discuss with him.
Forward to when they are looking for Akkadian,
Zapata found out from her NYPD buddy that the murder weapon has been found. She
asks Reade if he had destroyed the tape and the latter said a rather
unconvincing yes. Reade asks Zapata if she believes he didn’t kill Jones and
Zapata responds “I can’t shake the feeling you’re not being straight with me”. We
too Zapata, we too. Zapata suggests they go steal the murder weapon and Reade
says some pretty hurtful stuff to get her to back off. Their little sibling
squabble gets interrupted when Akkadian kicks their asses and drags Zapata off.

Akkadian injected Zapata with poison and
told the team that out of the three vials in the room, he would tell them which
was the antidote in exchange for Rich Dotcom. To that demand, Weller says “we can’t
do that”. But yes you can. Just leave the douchebag in the room to die. They end
up luring Akkadian out, Jane uses the moves Remi used in her dream on Akkadian and
Weller kills him. Nas and Reade save Zapata when with her last couple of breaths;
she tells them (in Morse code) which vial holds the antidote.
Weller arranges for Rich to go back to
prison. In the vehicle, we see that Boston is not dead and Rich just totally
used the FBI. Again. But this time, they didn’t let him get away with it. With a
little behind the scenes work by Patterson and that obvious Dobby death story,
they were able to arrest both Boston and Rich. Maximum security for these two I
hope.
At the end of the day, Nas goes to Weller’s
to apologize, tells him about Omaha – the government watching everyone and how
she trusts no one because when she did he turned out to be Sandstorm and three
of her people died (the last part she told Jane when telling her she won’t be
approving her plan to turn Roman). Weller buys this obvious sob story and the
two start some intense making out. Jane goes on a date with Oliver (the guy
from the gala who she has been texting all week) and it goes south when he asks
for “the basics” like where she’s from, how many siblings and the origin of the
tattoos. Where would Jane start? “It all began when I woke up in Time Square –
naked and covered in tattoos”. Can’t blame Jane from running out of there.
Reade apologizes to Zapata for the things
he said and makes her promise to leave the knife (murder weapon) alone. Seconds
later, we see Zapata stealing the murder weapon from the evidence room and when
she opens it later, she recognizes the knife. She saw it with Freddie when she
kicked him out in If Beth. While Roman is assembling all the C4 in the world, he gets
a message from their FBI informant. He goes to the drop and finds a message
which reads “Jane’s loyalty is with the FBI” along with proof that she tried uploading
the content of the chip to the FBI.
Theory of the day.
Could it be possible that Nas is the FBI informant?
She kind of appeared from nowhere and has admitted being somewhat involved with
Sandstorm. What if that person close to her turned her? Can we even verify she’s
NSA – if that’s possible? I think she deliberately got under Jane’s skin about
saving Roman and possibly turning him to see whose side she will lean heavily
towards.
