Netflix has dedicated a lot of time (and funds) to creating original series this year; and has been dishing out trailers upon trailers of upcoming shows. While some have been received well (and anticipated), others haven't seemed  very promising. Under the latter, I would group Netflix's original series Girlboss - loosely based on Sophia Amoruso's memoir.

Though the show has a few familiar names to its credits like writer Kay Cannon as Writer/Executive Producer, Breaking Bad alum Dean Norris as one of the cast, Charlize Theron as Executive Producer and Britt Robertson as lead actress; the plot seemed weak and did absolutely nothing to arouse my interest.

The show is about a young woman who thinks she has it "all figured out" by buying things cheap and then overselling them on eBay. When eBay figures out her scam and revolts, our lead actress decides to start her own fashion business and surprise surprise, it sells out. There are moments of "struggles", a possible love interest and a few cusswords.

If I had to describe it in a few words, I would say it's like 2 Broke Girls but with one girl - and less humor.

Would I be watching this show when it premieres April 21st? Absolutely not.  Would you?
