Recommended: The Guest Book

Big fan of comedy? Try this show.

The Guestbook is a TBS anthology series surrounding a cozy mountain cottage (Froggy Cottage) and its renters. And you best believe these occupants come with all kinds of baggage. While I was a bit excited about getting to see new sets of characters every episode and watch their unique set of quirks/problems, I loved some characters so much, I wanted to see them again and every new episode, I’d find myself hoping to see even a peek (or a mention) of them.

Though most of the cast only lasted an episode, they do have some regular cast members like the couple renting out the cottages, the doctor who lives next to Froggy Cottage, and the employees of the titty bar (Chubbys). The hiccup with the recurring cast is; minus the good ol’ doctor next door, I didn’t quite care for any of the other characters or their storylines.

The show did have some unique qualities like the office co-workers who serve as the show’s creative past episodes recap and the male and female singers who end the show.

Summary: If you love comedy, short stories and a little craziness that ranges from fanaticism to drug abuse to discovering a new fetish, you should absolutely watch the show - and come back to tell us what you think.
