We indeed feel rather nostalgic.

Teen Wolf recently released the trailer for the final ten episodes of the teenage supernatural show and Grandpappy Argent was right about one thing: we truly felt nostalgic. We have characters that selfishly left us to go play on the big boy teams (Like Arrow and Supergirl) return for a final season reunion.


There was Jackson (Colton Haynes) and Ethan (Charlie Carver) sashaying through the Beacon Hills hallway, there was Stiles (Dylan O'Brien, who most thought won't be returning for 6B) and our boy Stiles was with none other than Derek (Tyler Hoechlin)- who the last time we saw him, could fully shift into a wolf. But the one person we wanted to see but didn't is:

Isaac

Last time we saw Isaac (in 3B) he was heartbroken after Allison's death and left with Chris Argent. But Argent returned and there was no mention of scarf boy Isaac. Did Papa Argent somehow get tired of his snark and fulfill his duty as a hunter? We do miss Isaac's perfectly timed wit, beautiful facial expressions and his priceless back and forth with Stiles. Here's to hoping Jeff decides to surprise us with his face this final ten episodes.

Stydia

While some of us aren't a fan of the long shipped couple, some of us... are. Davis gave most their heart desires when that long awaited kiss happened but it looks like that's the best Stydia shippers are going to get. From what we could gleam from the trailer, Lydia never left Beacon Hill (or she came way earlier than Stiles) while the latter had to dramatically arrive when they needed him. The expression on Scott's face revealed he was not only relieved to see him, but  hadn't seen him a while. How then is Stydia working? Is it a long distance relationship? Did they break up? It would definitely be fun watching the two trying to figure out their relationship.

Also, considering Sterek's entrance and Teen Wolf's penchant for shoving most of its action toward the mid and final episodes, Stiles and Derek might not show up till episode B5. 

Scott actually being an alpha.

Scott's alpha status so far has been entirely useless. Every single Beta (and even Omega) can whoop his behind in a fight. The only time we ever saw him even closely do something alpha-like was when he effortlessly blocked Peter's hits in Season 5. After that, it was back to wimpy Scott. Is he ever going to use any of that power? Can he do anything order than loudly roar for his teammates to come to his rescue? We definitely hope so.

 For the one thing we actually do not want to see:

Layden

I don't mean to be a hater or anything but there's no TV couple as annoying as Liam and Hayden. What makes them annoying, you ask quizzically? It's the amount of screen time these two get. A lot could be happening in a particular episode and we have to watch those two make uninteresting relationship banter and swap saliva. I was beyond relieved to not see Hayden in the trailer. Doesn't mean she won't pop up in a makeout scene or valiantly save Liam from some exaggerated demise. While we're on the topic of annoying relationships, can everyone on the show NOT be in a relationship?

 Teen Wolf returns Sunday, July 30 8/7c on MTV- and a thousand bucks says one or two major characters dies in the finale. Because every show wants to be Game of Thrones.
